Journaling reads: One day when Sarah and I were out thrifting, I spotted this really old version of the Cootie game. It was a little pricey at $25.00, but worth it, as every one of the original pieces was still in its slot in the box. The box was a little worn, but the pieces still looked new. The original price stamped in the box says $2.00 and the date says 1949. I remember you kids playing with a much more updated version in the 1980s-90s over at Ma & Papa Skips house. I hoped that the grandkids would enjoy it and Autumn did get to do that one day with her mom, Aunt Sarah and me.

This was done using a 6x6 pad - Mayberry by American Crafts. I did some pen stitching and detailing on the cootie and all the triangles with a black pen. The cootie was made by enlarging a photo I took of one and then hand cutting and paper piecing all the parts. The stickers are from assorted sets from my stash. The title was done with Thickers foam letters. I used my Thickers Alphabet Alignment Guide to create the curves of the title and the two black lines under it. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
