Journaling reads: August 2021 Jerry and I made a trip down to Gregg Farms in Williamson and got a bushel of peaches. I decided to try something new this year. Instead of peach preserves or freezing the peaches, I made Peach Pie Filling and canned it. We couldnt wait to test it by making a pie yummy :)

This layout was done with DCWV Southern Belle collection. The wavy border at the top was cut by hand with decorative scissors. The lettering for pie filling was cut using die cuts and a cutting machine. The word peach was cut by hand, then pen stitched with black. The words pie filling were outlined with a green pen. Then I added greed brads for the dots on the "i"s. The little cluster of bottles and peaches were fussy cut from pp and then put together and pop dotted. The large peach was also fussy cut and pop dotted. The little Karo add at the bottom was cut from a magazine then I trimmed it with Fiskars deckle scissors, matted it on blue and trimmed that to match. The peach bow was made from some really old seam binding that my mother had. The two buttons on the far right were stitched down using DMC. The other button was attached with a glue dot. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
