I love this! great inking! And ironically enough, I was just talking to dh about going to DC next spring when the cherry blossoms are blooming. My mother always loved them too. They reminded her of home :)
The daily inspiration challenge was to create a LO using an element coming from the east side of the project, another coming from the west side of the project and have them meet. So for this, I have bands of the same oxide inks on white and black papers mirroring each other. I added my own little twist of Japanese cherry blossoms (east) touching (not really but visually they do) the iconic Washington Monument, which symbolizes DC (west). Every spring, when I visit the blossoms, I fall in love with DC all over again.
I also allowed myself to use 3 of my precious Reneabouquet pieces! And I used up many of the Is on my sticker sheets. Not sure why this particular brand/collection gives you a million little Is but only, like, 5 Ms and 12 Es.
