My son transitioned to the heavenly realm 7 years ago. My crafting is therapy for me. But I have remained stuck in self isolation and have been unable to find a purpose or way to honor his memory. I read something about how to honor our loved ones and it stated, Craft in honor of your child. And that was it! So from now on all crafts and projects I create will have printed on back, Created in loving memory of my dear son, Jeremy Blake, and will have this logo. I fell in love with the logo and then I read that it was a monogram butterfly for wedding invitations. I then looked to see what initials they had used and they just happened to be J & B! Jeremy Blake Simmons is my sons full name. Perfect!!! And the name Rainbow Butterfly came to me because a Near Death Experience that I had before my son passed, during a long period of serious illness that I went through. In that heavenly realm that I was privileged to enter, at the end of the tunnel, was a beautiful meadow of flowers, butterflies, of colors unseen on this earth. It was as if the flowers were alive with all the Rainbow Butterflies. So I chose rainbow for the promise God made to never to destroy man again and butterfly meaning rebirth and transformation. I hope you enjoy hearing my story about my transformation with the certainty of being with my son one day when my time on earth is done.
