Journaling reads: Dorothy's work career began as an operator with Southern Bell in Atlanta around 1946. She left that job around 1948 to work at the Highland Mill here in Griffin. That is where she and BJ were both working when they met and soon married. She continued to work at the mill for about 20 years. In 1968, she got her GED and left the mill for a job here in Griffin with Southern Bell (Bell South) as a long distance operator. She stayed at this job for 22 years until she retired in 1990. These photos are from her later years at Bell South.

FYI - Dorothy and BJ were my husband Jerry's parents.

The title was done with an assortment of sticker letters. The pps are from Echo Park's The Story of Our Family and Simple Stories' Hello Today. The large yellow phone was fussy cut from a pp from my stash. The teal and red borders are washi tape. The telephone border is a sticker border from the Echo Park set. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
