Bg pp is from Scrapbook Customs. I wanted a dbl layout, but didn't want that printed title to show on both pages, so I decided to cover it with a collage of prints cut down to 2x2. Dragonflies are fussy cut from Mintay Papers Wing Book. I added some stickers from Jolee's Boutique and Simple Stories.
There will be additional journaling tucked behind the 2x2 collage about the final event of our float trip. There was an older gentleman, alone in his canoe, but part of the group from our outfitter. When we got to the take-out spot, he was sitting on the side of his canoe. When we asked if he needed anything, he said someone from the outfitter was supposed to help him back up the hill to his car but he missed the time. He refused our help, saying we wouldn't be strong enough, and what a day to forget his heart medicine! The only assistance he would accept was for us to drive out of the river valley until we could get phone reception and call to see if the outfitter would come back for him - which we were able to do, but it took several minutes of driving before we were high enough to get reception.
