Oh my, this is so unique, beautiful and the clasp at the time is really craze unique! Wow, you must not sleep at night for lying awake at night thinking up each of these items!
This card is approximately A2 sized. I used an Anna Griffin die to cut the basic shape for my cards. I used deep pink and teal blue for these two cards. I used some white shimmer paper to cut the top half of the purse card. I cut the purse again from gold mirror card (top portion only to get the "fasteners" for my cards. I chose some patterned paper and cut this also using the purse die. After I cut the cards from cardstock (colors above), I cut the word HAPPY from gold mirror card (twice, one for each card), and cut the layering piece from the pink and the teal to match the cards. I cut some leaves (Diamond Press) to add to my purses. I used some gold line Dazzles (Paper Wishes) for the outside and inside of my cards.
Putting the card together: I layered the patterned paper onto my card front. I adhered the white shimmer paper to the top of my cards. I added "HAPPY" to the front of my cards. I adhered the gold fastener pieces to my cards and then added buttons. I added some leaves to the front of my cards.
For the inside: I used the leftover piece of patterned cardstock and created a pocket inside my card by gluing only three of the sides and adhering the paper to the inside of my cards. I added the word "Birthday" to the pocket. I added some little heart or stars stickers as decoration. I used some gold Line Dazzles (Paper Wishes) to create a finished look. I added some embossed copper paper to demonstrate where a gift card would go.
