I have a fantastic die set from Whimsy that features some flying dragons! So my idea was born, to turn this fabulous Hannah Lynn Mermaid with her Dragon, into 'The Mother of Dragons' in a hat tip to a modern fairytale and the Mother of Dragons herself, Daenerys Targaryen. I'm sure it goes without saying, I'm referencing a modern fairytale ~ The Game of Thrones. I had this lovely sentiment in my stash from Unity Stamps which was a perfect fit for this creation, so I heat embossed it onto black cardstock with Hero Arts Silver Embossing Powder. I used a lovely notched corner rectangle die from Whimsy Stamps to cut the sentiment out and added the fantastic flying dragons cut from textured black shimmery cardstock to finish this creation. I've used black net from a vege bag in the background for a bit of texture and interest. The gorgeous paper is from a Fancy Pants Paper set called October 31. The gorgeous image, I coloured with Copic Markers.
