Photo taken in 1956...when I was crowned Little Miss Waresboro. I was only 5 years old, so it was a LONG time ago! LOL! I used 49 and Market Spectrum/Sherbet paper for this layout. I drew a circle on the background paper (which is kind of a mixed media paper) and then did a little chain stitching around the circle. Flowers are all punched with old flower punches. The leaves are dies from Simon Says Stamps and SB.com. The flower centers are enamel dots for the small blooms and the large blooms are some old crystal dots from my stash. Title work is combination of computer generated and the "melody" is Pink Fresh Studio Rainbow Puff alphas. The lacy edge under the photo is a die from TH. Large butterfly is fussy cut from a Mintay Wings book and the smaller butterflies are punched with MS punches. Photo is pop up with craft foam. Journaling was computer generated and cut into strips. I also added some nuvo drops for butterfly trails in black. I used gold nuvo to sprinkle around the floral cluster. I used some nuvo gold spray to add some gold flicks of paint around the white areas.
