Far Away They Flew

The May Daily Inspiration challenge prompt was to use Mother Goose for inspiration - I took a bit of creative license with her poem, The Little Bird. The original final line reads:And far away he flew.

These little birds grew up so fast - I think 4 days before, they were still nestling under dad and looking pretty scrawny. All of a sudden the more dominant fledgling was hopping around the flower pot then one day, the whole family was gone.
