Here is a layout that I made about why I scrapbook and what my scrapbook is to me. The journaling says:

'Sitting around the campfire soaking up the words as a sun worn river guide weaves an intricate tale. Cautiously balancing on a rubber raft while competing with the roar of a rapid to tell the details of the last run. Stopping along a trail to share the significance of a delicate flower hidden amongst the Canyon walls. These are a few of my greatest passions. It is true that I love the river and rafting, but even more than that I seek out stories! Stories are my greatest passion. I love to hear them, experience them, and tell them and retell them. This is the one fact that seems to permeate my entire existence. This is also why I love scrapbooking. My scrapbook is a visual record of who I am, who I love, where I have been, and where I want to go. While on my first Grand Canyon river trip this photo was taken at Blacktail Canyon. It amazes me to think of all that has happened since this photo was taken. I stood there in awe of a Canyon that I would later lead passengers into. With even more irony, I was helicoptered out from the beach just across the river from it on my last trip. I never know what stories lay ahead, but I look forward to the adventures."

I am still experimenting with the whole scan and stitch thing. I think this one came out better, but it is a little crooked. lol! The rub on straigt in real life.

Thanks for looking!
