Birthday Tile

I made this card for my boyfriend's mother's birthday. I used a stencil from Picket Fence. I used texture paste on the middle red design and the edges to make them stand out. I used an embossing pen to get the embossing powder to stick. I used distressed crayons to color around the parts I was not embossing. I then used a sharpie to go around the crayon to make it stand out more. I used a Just for you die cut from another card kit on copper embossing copper paper from a kit my dad gave me. I found the dragonfly from Wallie's wallpaper cutouts my mom gave me to add a little something more. I will add a ribbon so she can hang it on the wall as she likes to hang things.
