Blue, teal and white alcohol inks on a primed canvas panel blown around with an airbrush for a loose, ethereal effect. When the colors were satisfactory, I added some Deco Foil for pop and some shimmer! To seal it, I used three coats of UV spray sealer.

(definitely do this outside!)

I heat embossed the laser cut chipboard from Scrapaholics.net - "breathe" with Ranger Embossing Glaze and adhered it to the project.
The frame was upcycled from a local thrift shop. I buffed the frame to remove the shiny finish and primed it with white gesso to make sure there were no slick areas. I added layers of gray and white paint with a dry brush for a distressed look and sealed the frame.

This piece was a commission.
