Hi There! Here are a few tips for making a quick layout with visual impact.
1. Use lots of photos collaged together
Its all about your memories, and photos tell the story in so many ways. One of my favorite ways to make a big impact on a layout is to collage a number of photos printed in various sizes.
2. Paper piece the background
One of the fastest way to add interest to any layout is to paper piece the background. The variety of colors and prints will make any layout really interesting to look at.
3. Use complementary colors
Blue and orange are complementary colors, so they really make this layout pop!
4. Use a couple large embellishments
A couple large embellishments clustered together help move your eye through the photos on this layout and they are quick to assemble.
5. Use pre-made decorative elements
The pre-made journal spot is super decorative, so all I needed to add to make the look of a cluster is a phrase strip.
