My son loves anything to do with nature, as do his two daughters. They got a kit with 5 tiny caterpillars in it, which they could watch transform into nice fat caterpillars, then chrysalids, then butterflies, at which point they can be released and this was Release Day!
The girls were very gentle but loved seeing the butterflies on their hands before they flew away. This type of butterfly is native to the UK, called Painted Ladies, and orange and black so this die worked perfectly!
