Typically when I do a black ice technique I use Stazon or Archival Ink as they are permanent and will stick to foil card stock. My pads were a bit dry therefore I heat embossed the Flight of Fancy feather with Versafine Nocturne Ink and clear embossing powder to get a dark, crisp impression. Once the powder was cool, I then swiped Archival Jet Black ink onto the panel leaving streaks and some areas lighter or darker. This sort of reminds me of a wood texture. Next I used swiped Embossing Ink over the entire panel and applied clear embossing powder to get that glazed or icy appearance. I repeated that process a second time because I like a lot of texture, but you dont necessarily have to do that. I then paired it with another Old Fashioned Simple Sayings sentiment and added silver baubles.
