Oh my gosh, this is gorgeous. She might be 11 but she looks so mature. Her facial expression was the first thing I noticed. The flower branch was the perfect touch. That was a lot of fussy cutting, but it was worth it.

Golden Moment

Another one of my DGD, Maggie, on her 11th birthday. I made the text background paper by printing quotes about beauty, then printed it on a 12x12 piece of white card stock so that I could cut the shape I wanted. I used an xacto knife to cut the curved edge, then inked it with vintage photo distress oxide. Large flower stem was an image from pngwing.com that I resized to fit my page then printed it twice so that I could cut out several of the blooms and layer them over the bottom layer for dimension. I added deep pink Nuvo drops for the flower centers. Title work was cut with the Cameo. Tag across the top was computer generated and cut out by hand. The lacy border beside the photo is a crochet die from TH Sizzix. I added some gold nuvo sprinkled around the flowers and on the lace. I also added a gold border outside the burgundy one with a gold pen. No journaling on this one. TFL!
