Photo of my son and me taken in 2001 about a year after he moved out on his own (and 3 hours away from me!) I used Carta Bella Work Hard Play Hard collection for this layout and some old papers from my stash. The top paper is something from my stash from a LONG time ago (in fact, it was paper not card stock!). The grid in navy was cut with a very old die that cuts two rows of tiny squares that I just cut over and over really close together to make the grid. The gears are cut with a TH die set. Title and "call Tech support" were a cut apart and a sticker from the collection. I added a navy 1/4 strip to separate the wood grain from the blue stripe and added a sprinkle of light grey nuvo drops. Journaling was handwritten on navy card stock. I also added some gold nuvo over and under the top piece of the title.
