I adapted an old layout by Jess Mutty who was in the design team for Fancy Pants. Hers was a lot more grungy for a boy page, but these embellies were so cute, I couldn't resist making the page very girly!
I started with some black splatters in the background, then some simple strips for the banners where I didn't stick all the ends down. The matting for the photo was a piece of black card with a deckled edge from my stash - I have no idea where it came from!, but it was the perfect size. Lastly adding the title, the little bunting banner in the corner, and those sweet kitty embellies!
