Beautiful card! Love the embossed background with the pretty sheen glow along with the warm colors you added. The trio of flowers with the little bow is the perfect detail.
This is beautiful. I really love it. Your cards have always been well thought out and matched, and this is no exception. I love the stems and the embossing.
You always have such wonderful ideas! I tried to emboss by putting DO ink, but it never turns out.
I end up smearing everything up. You did such a lovely job here. Then rubbing on some gold wax on the raised part makes it shiny! My new fav plus is it ok if I lift this design?
A traditional birthday card for a German relative.
It is hard to capture the sheen on this card. First, I added some Distress Oxide ink to the inside of my embossing folder, then embossed the card panel. Afterwards I rubbed some gold wax over the raised areas.
I die cut the oval and coloured it using Distress Oxide inks, then added some splatters using a white Posca pen. I stamped and heat embossed the sentiment. The flower and foliage were also die cut, coloured using DO inks and then heat embossed using glazes and baked texture powder. I cut a piece of gold ribbon to make the bow and stuck it down using a glue dot. The tiny gems and gold trim are from my stash.
