This is my second card box in this style.
The design is originally from Sam Hammond Donald of PootlesPapercraft in the UK on YouTube. She did two videos for this note card box, both for 3.5 x 5 inch note cards (here are both https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onuOeconbiI and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocYTz4lhrg4), but I wanted a box to hold US A2 size cards (4.25 x 5.5 inches) and I modified the measurement to get this result. I'm happy.
I was totally prepared to use magnets properly for the closure this time, but the magnets were not. Do not ask me how, but a stack about 30 little magnets got up and walked off and I cannot locate them anywhere, though they've managed to stick to everything on my desk in the past. So, small velcro dots to the rescue.
What cannot be seen in these photos is the all over shimmer sparkle from having sprayed the papers with a combination of isopropyl alcohol and shimmer paint from a spritzer.
I'm not showing cards and envelopes in this one, because I actually made it to house a small gift, and I don't want the recipient to see it before they get it. It also represents a belated birthday, but if it falls within the current month, we're still cool, right?
