I know I keep using this large heart die a lot, but this card is for a special occasion and it is my favourite heart die set!
This slimline card is for hubby, we celebrate our 42nd Wedding Anniversary on the 11th. He has been so understanding and supportive, especially recently when wide ranging and hard decisions had to be made about my Mum. How better to express my feelings than with a LOT of hearts........
The papers (A4) are from a UK company called Wowvow, they specialise in wedding planning, invitations etc. The gold paper was pre-embossed, it feels thick and soft. I embossed the purple card using a Creative Expressions 3D folder. It has a gorgeous sheen with a light teal tint. I cut the heat die twice. For the bottom layer I used mirror card, the top layer is a rich teal. To get the shadow effect I offset the layers ever so slightly while gluing them together. I also picked out a large gold heart, coloured it with a white Posca pen and coated it in glossy accents for more sheen and texture.
There are additional touches on the inside, but they stay private ;-)
