I didn't want the layout to be the same old, same old so I cut a flower shape out of cake papers using cricut. I cut the flowers in half and put them on opposides of the pink background. The title and gem embellishment echo the birthday cake theme. I always put the age of the subject on their birthday page and did it on a heart outlined in gems here. To prevent the top from being too plain, I added washi tape on which I placed the title that I'd cut out with Cricut as well.
