I made this cute bookmark to give to my niece, who has recently learned to read. I had intended to make her a bookmark anyway, but just this morning I came across a challenge where participants were challenged to create a project using the following quote as inspiration:
"Reading is the key that opens doors to many good things in life. Reading shaped my dreams, and more reading helped me make my dreams come true." -- Ruth Bader Ginsburg
So that was a bit of extra incentive to get the bookmark finished ASAP!
I used stamps and papers by Lawn Fawn and Scrapbook.com. I used a Clear Scraps clear acrylic tag as the template for the bookmark; I traced around it using red pen and then fussy cut it out.
