I made this ahead of time for the lady who will provide the catering at our upcoming family gathering.

This card is all about textures and contrasts. I used stencil paste to create the fishnet, covered the wet paste in shimmer embossing powder and let it dry naturally. Then I heat embossed it. The powder provided a glossy , sparkly coating.

I die cut and heat embossed a Tim Holtz flower, using Seth Apter's baked texture powder, and finished it with pops of colour. I stamped, heat embossed and coloured the little bee who fit perfectly into the hole in the netting. Then I added the sentiment (also heat embossed) and a few gems.

The card is quite weighty and the flower has an enamel appearance, but everything has a wonderful sheen.

Stencil Paste - Pretty Gets Gritty, white texture paste
Embossing powder - Cosmic Shimmer, Arctic Pearl
Seth Apter Baked Textures - Flower head: Rustic Indigo; Stem: mixture of Distress oxide glaze (cracked pistachio) and Seth Apter Dirty Sand.
