This is a lift. The original layout, featuring the paper rolling technique, was designed by Vickiscraps, "Love This". She has also produced a detailed process video.



Her fun and ingenious design caught my eye immediately and I wanted to try out her paper rolling idea. So I got out my Pearl Pops of Color and painted strips of all eight colours on a piece of paper. Once dry, I cut the strips and positioned them on my white cardstock, with a little space between them. After gluing the top of each strip to the cardstock I rolled up each end and secured the rolls using glue. Summery puffy stickers, flowers and sentiments complete my layout. I really like the effect of the paper rolls and the metallic sheen of the pops.

Thank you Vicki for your inspirational design, I am a fan of this gem of a technique and will definitely use it again in future!
