This card went through lots of changes. Still not really happy with it, but here it is. The card is going to neighbors who have Covid.
The image is from a coloring book, and is done with colored pencils.
The focal image was die cut with circle dies. The first version was left plain. Used a DI pad to add the texture to the bottom left of the image. A tissue paper circle was die cut and added under a button die cut with an crochet thread bow. Added dots with a glitter pen. This is actually the second posted photo.
I went back and looked at the sketch in the challenge and saw the dots around the focal image. I added the string of beads around the focal image. It look terrible! So, out came the glitter glue to go around the bead string. I didn't like the glitter pen dots, so they got covered up with more glitter. When the glitter glue was added, it got all over the tissue paper round, and tore the circle. The extra three tissue circles were pulled out of my trash bag. They were folded and glued around the button die cut. I am still not happy with the card, but it sure is shiny!
Oh, on the inside the brown cardstock bled onto the light brown layer from moisture from the glitter glue. That got covered up with another button die cut and bow. The "Get Well" sentiment was foiled. The sub-sentiment was heat embossed.
Thank you for taking a look at this "card in stages". I appreciate all the kind comments.
Thank you Ro, for the button die cuts.
