Just a quick layout documenting Blue's success at the village fete.
Jules entered him into the dog show, there were 4 categories and Blue won a rosette at each one! The highlight of Jules's day was when the winner of the BEST IN SHOW was announced: Blue!
My base paper is from the Mintay "Vacation" collection. I hand-drew a large paw print onto the paper, cut out the "pads" and distressed their outlines. Using Distress Oxide inks as watercolour, I inked around the paw to give it a definite shape. The photos are stuck down under each pad. Then I stencilled the splodges and lines, doodled the border and stamped the bones. I found some matching letters (sorry, no idea of the brand, I ditched the packaging long ago), added the journaling and a few embellies. My fav is the little metal bow tie.
