Hi There! Scrapbook paper with one or two large images can be a challenge to work with. Heres how I made this one work for my layout.

Love the large image of the horse head swirled into a heart, but it limits the where things can be placed on my layout. As I plan my layout I need to work the image into the composition. By making it a feature of the layout title, Ive integrated the large image into the layout.

Printed the pictures in a smaller size, then grouped them together. The solid gold mat not only ties into the layout title, but it provides a space for journaling. Plus the mat is a big statement too. And it keeps my photos from getting lost on the page.

Its all about balance. The big, bold title balances the big, bold statement the image makes on the paper. The other large elements on the page also help to balance the large printed image on the scrapbook paper, so it all works together.

Happy Scrapping!
