So Grandma, can you teach me to make the perfect biscuit too? :) This is the example of why we scrap. So glad this wonderful memory is saved for all the generations coming in the future. PS...can I have one of those biscuits? YUM!
Fabulous, I love this clean and simple design! Your bowl and cloth look ace, even down to the stains!!! I love how you incorporated those "online" biscuits. The real biscuits look scrummy!!!
Photo taken recently when I was teaching my DGD, Helen Grace, how to make biscuits from scratch. The background paper is a soft yellow card stock. Patterned paper is some really old Daisy D paper from my stash. The biscuits are a photo I found online, printed and then cut them out. I made the bowl with some brown paper from my stash. The cloth is another piece of the ppr. The arrows are die cuts using a Paper Roses die. Title work was designed in the Silhouette Program and cut with the Cameo. I used some bright yellow nuvo drops with the title and a couple of puffy hearts. Journaling was printed directly on the background paper. (by designing the "look" I wanted in the Silhouette Program, I was able to determine where I wanted the journaling to be). I also outlined the large triangles and the bowl with a black pen to help them "pop" a little! Thanks so much for stopping by!
