This is my third and favorite quirky bird in over 2 weeks. The color, the shoes, the shading, the eyes, the wings just all got better with each bird. Quirky birds can be whatever you want. Funny shapes, funny eyes, funny colors. Hope you enjoy the process! I know I am definitely finding love with my TomBow markers and Gelatos again.
The 2nd bird was my second attempt at making more realistic eyes. Just don't care for them. So by the time I got to the third bird (primary photo), I went back to my roots with die cutting and using those techniques to create eyes.
The 1st is definitely "quirky" (July 24th bird). What's up with the wings?
