I am absolutely fascinated by my daylilies - both of these are newer ones. Sometimes I have a vague idea how they're going to look when they bloom but they nearly always surprise me by how beautiful they turn out to be. The 'Moonlight Masquerade' is one I've wanted to buy for a long time - I love it!

Lily and butterflies: fussy cut from coloring calendar (one I saved from my Dad's "collection"), the lily was painted with Gelatos in lemon and bubblegum and the butterflies were colored with Staedtler Fineliners.
