These are pics of our home taken from out in the garden. We named our place Swallow's Nest Farm because the swallows have been coming here for years and nesting on our front porch. Also, we have a large vegetable garden.
For this page I used Simple Stories Simple Vintage Indigo Garden collection. The bottom border of flowers was fussy cut from pp. The large flower next to the nest was an old die cut. The smaller flower next to the poem is a sticker. The title was done with old Basic Grey stickers. The bit of green lace at the top was made using Tim Holtz Crochet die cut. The bottom border on the green dot was made using EK Success dotted scallop punch. The nest was made by cutting a bunch of scalloped circles and then cutting, chalking and layering them up to create the bottom and top side of the nest. The eggs are stickers and the bird was made by printing on of my bird pics and fussy cutting it.
The poem reads:
Bless this house as she makes it hers; painting particular colors, planting exotic flowers.
Post angels on its lot lines, guarding the good, holding the evil at bay.
May hungry souls be fed within these walls and thirsty hearts revived.
Soften the losses grieved here, and stretch the joyful days.
Like incense in the air, fill this space - her place - with the sweet fragrance of Your presence.
Bless this house, O God. Bless her home. by Evelyn Bence

Thanks so much for stopping by :)
