Give a Cheer
Photo of my DGD, Helen Grace, on her first day of 11th grade this year. Super simple layout...I masked off the background with pieces of 1/4 inch masking tape on white card stock. I used Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide ink to the background paper....removed the masking tape...and instant background! I stamped leaves directly onto the background using Altenew's Leaf Canopy stamps, then stamped it again on white paper and cut out with the coordinating dies. I popped the second set of leaves with a little foam tape. Photo corners were die cut with a Paper Roses die. Photo was triple matted. Title letters were cut with a very old QK die set called Diesel and the "th" was cut with another old QK die. Journaling strips were computer generated and cut into strips. The "awesome" tag was something I found on my desk ...so not sure where it's from. LOL! Added some gold nuvo drops around the leaves and title work and added a thin black line around the border of the page. The page was cut down 1/4 inch on all sides to add a black border.
