This was my Aunt Catherine with some of the beautiful strawberries she and Uncle Lester raised.
I rubbed some yellow ink in the background with Tim Holtz Ink Applicator and then flecked on the red paint using an old toothbrush. The red lace across the top was made using Tim Holtz crochet die. I stamped the berries with Fiskars Fresh Fruit stamps and then fussy cut and layered them. The top of the green journal strip was made with EK Success Dotted Scallops punch and the bottom was made with Fiskar's Flower Border. I used Journal Genie Funky template to draw the lines for journaling. The lines were drawn with a Gelly Roll pen. I tied a bit of yellow/white baker's twine around the top of the green strip and added a Jolee's bee. The white flower was punched and the leaves were cut free hand and doodled.
