I love haunted houses almost as much as I love Halloween! For this card, I focused on CMS 408 Sketch Manor.

The background was created with distress inks - prize ribbon, shaded lilac, black soot, and wilted violet - the moon being made with the moon mask and distress inks mustard seed and pumice stone. For the ground I water colored in black soot distress crayon and then used "Crypt" texture paste over top for dimension.

I stamped the manor on white watercolor paper and watercolored it with Distress Crayons and cut it out - I had to cut off the fencing in spirals at the top of the stamped image to not leave a shadow - but I put them back in by stamping the image again on my background before gluing my colored copy on top of it lining them up again. Along with adding in the branches, bats, and fencing from the same stamp set. And lastly added in some of the very small "witches" from the older Halloween paper doll set.
