Oh, I am so sorry I missed this one. It is terrific. I like grebes and yours are super cool with the crest. When I come to visit, you have to show me them. Hahaha!

2022 Loch of the Lowes Great Crested Grebes

This layout was done as a pocket layout as it was immediately behind our anniversary meal layout done in pockets. We have often had the privilege of watching the Great Crested Grebes here, Linlithgow Palace and even at a small lochlan close to us. They are amazing to watch during the mating season. This young male however, wasn't having a easy time of getting it done. I find it interesting how they build their nests often ON the water not near the shore. This one got sank about three times before it took.
