Oh my goodness, Susan, this is wonderful! What an awesome story, and you do such a great job telling it with your journaling. The neutral background and the red matting really show off the pictures and journaling. Great job!

This is a very sentimental layout. I have wanted to do this layout for a couple of years, but never could get it "just right."
Journaling: Sid has been on a tractor since before he could walk, and once he was six years old, his dad let him drive the tractor by himself.
When Sid turned sixteen years old, his dad told him that he would buy him either a car or a tractor. Sid asked for the tractor. He got one along with a bush hog. He later got a disc and a two-disc tiller. Within the year, he earned enough money bush-hogging to buy a car. To this day, Sid is more at home and happiest when he is on a tractor.
These photos were taken in 1985 by Mom Newell. Jimmy was about eighteen months old and Melissa was almost four years old. They loved to ride on the tractor with daddy or Papaw. These photos were taken at mom and dad’s house in LaGrange, Georgia. They loved to go out to the farm where Papaw had his “little garden.” The garden was fifteen acres!

Second Journal box: Dad passed away in April 1993. The summer of 1995, we found this roll of film at Mom's house. We took it in to be developed. When we picked it up, we stood there and cried! They aren't the best quality photos, but they are among the most precious photos we have.
Supplies: background paper: Unknown ribbon (run through xyron and holding vellum on page): Making Memories
