These pics are from our Benjamin's 11th birthday back on January 23, 2002. He is our youngest and is now 31. His birthday dinner (cooked by your truly) consisted of fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, fried okra, butter beans and Chocolate Fudge Cake - apparently their were also homemade biscuits since I see jelly on the table LOL! This page was done with pps from my scrap boxes and with a lot of "old school" products and techniques. The zig zag border and the scalloped border were cut with decorative scissors. The other blue border was torn. The filmstrip is washi tape. The lavender with stars is ribbon. The candles and title were stamped and fussy cut. The cake was made using an old template to draw it off and then cut by hand. I used a white gel pen to draw the details. The little blue tag was cut using a die and attached to the tiny black ribbon. Lastly, I added a few doodled stitching lines. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
