For this project, I die-cut the leaves and flowers from yellow cardstock (I made several versions using red, green, and orange cardstock). I wanted them to look like fall leaves so I added blotches of candied apple, carved pumpkin, and crushed olive distress oxide ink. The acorn was cut from gold metallic paper. The flowers were run through an embossing folder with tiny flowers on it so they had a bit of dimension. I used an embossing stylus to give all of the die cuts movement. Before assembling the card I inked some edges with black soot. I added all the components to a handmade paper background. The sentiment is added using foam squares for a little more dimension. Lastly, I added gold crystals to a few places on the card.
