I saw this gorgeous letterbox die and thought straight away of my Grandpa's rural letterbox. I gave it a rusty finish and wooden stand by using some perfect papers from Cathe Holden's Neutrals Palette Sampler from her Flea Market Finds Collection for Spellbinders. I've used several of the papers from this pad in this creation. Everything I used has had Distress Oxide in Walnut Stain run along the edges and fold lines to bring the dimensional pattern out. The lovely Happy Holidays die is actually a free gift from Scrapbook.com and Spellbinders, which I think is perfect for this make. I've used the lovely Dimensional Diamonds Embossing Folder as the base layer for this creation, which I popped up on foam for a bit of dimension and interest. I ran some Walnut Stain Oxide Ink over the kraft card base to distress it and tie it into this more rustic shabby chic finish. Final touch was the lovely Helleborus Christmas Rose, which I cut from a Hessian page of Cathe's paper pad, gave it a distressed finish and a chocolate coloured pearl to finish the flower centre.
