Hello everyone! I've missed you all! Long time no see! Or post rather... Can you believe it's been nearly two years since my last post? So many projects to add, so little time.
Covid's been a mess hasn't it? However, I think we're all getting used to it. At least, I hope we are.

This card was mad with a combination of Graphic 45's Nature Notebook and a pack designed by Tim Coffey along with K & Company (sorry guys can't find a pad name, but it's several years old now... ). This is one of those projects where you buy a pad of paper because you find it and say to yourself, "oh, that's pretty!" but then it sits in your studio for three years collecting dust because you just can't find the inspiration to use it. Then one day you tell yourself, "I absolutely HAVE to use that paper, I love that paper!" So this is what happens. Of course, mind you, like with all projects that you force yourself to make, it sat in a corner waiting patiently while screaming at me for all the things I had done wrong. Recently I realized how to fix it and this was the end result. I'm quite happy with it in the end.
This is a fold out style, which I am always impressed by when they're done. They're very fun, and they take very minimal extra work to have that tiny bit of added flair. Well, by my standards of very minimal effort... Most of the work is really in cutting and pasting (or taping in my case).
The sunflower was hand made. I used a standard 60lb cardstock and some brown prills. I highlighted that with some of prima's distressing wax (I got a little sloppy with it but oh well). The other flowers are all mulberry paper and were imported. The honey comb die cut hither and thither is one of Tim Holtz's dies, and the foil paper is also his. If you guys haven't tired his foil paper, you really got'a give it a try. The teddy bear is one I got at good ol' HL. Metal roses in tones of red, yellow, and orange are stuck in amongst the flowers. While I added some yellow sequins and Swarovski crystals. I think the Swarovski crystals are worth the extra money compared to a resin crystal. They really shine and sparkle unlike anything else. The other embellishments are bits and pieces I got here and there, nowhere special.
Anyway, thank you all for taking a peek at this project. I'm hoping to have my other projects posted soon. You know the dozen or so that haven't found their way onto here yet. Big hugs everyone! Till the next one!
