This is my sweet Mama, back in 1927 - she was about two years old here. Everything I used on this page is really old and I have no idea where it came from or who it was made by. I started out by cutting the outside of the brown circle with larger scallop scissors and then I cut out the inside of the circle with smaller scallop scissors. Most of the green leaves are handmade. I cut them out free hand and then added details with a brown pen. Lastly, I went over the green with colored pencils to make them blend in with the leaves that were attached to the flowers. I added a little bit of pen details to the flowers and the butterfly. The green mat around the photo is heavily inked with brown and then I added vintage photo corner stickers. The quote on the tag is a vellum cut out from my stash, as are the "button", lettering, and stamp. "Ruth" was made with clear sticker letters on ivory cs and then I fussy cut around it. The dotted pp is inked with brown and I cut a brown border with a Stampin' Up punch. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
