Give a Cheer
Journaling reads: Sarah was invited to go along to dinner and a movie for Rachel Raffertys 9th birthday. When Rachels parents picked Sarah up, I didnt think to ask what movie they were going to see. Had I known they were going to see Grease, Im not sure I would have let Sarah go. Luckily, as she had just turned 9 that same month, a lot of the adult stuff went right over her head. The main thing she says she still remembers were the naked butts of the guys mooning the cameras at the dance LOL! Sarah and Rachel became good friends at their Program Challenge class. Accelerated students who passed the test to enter Program Challenge were bussed to another school one day a week for more advanced studies.
I am really please with how this page came out. Some of the retro stickers, inherited from a friend cleaning out her stash, were the perfect touch here. I also found some retro pp and stickers by Karen Foster. I used EK Success' Large Edger Circles for the bottom border. The black border in the middle was cut with decorative scissors. The letters for GREASE are from October Afternoon's Midway collection. The smaller black letters are American Crafts Mini Mark rub ons - Frank and Kate collections. The polka dot topper and bottom piece around the journaling were cut on the Cuttlebug. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
