I bought the new Sizzix- Tim Holtz chapter 3 dies to make journal elements but wanted to see how they would work to make a mini Christmas card - gift card holder. What I came up with is this 5 piece set where all the pieces nest together. The small snowman tag can be used for a special greeting and it goes into the small envelope. It has a little tag on a piece of twine that can hang outside of the envelope. The small envelope fits into the coin envelope along with the Santa tag and a gift card. The coin envelope fits into the mini file folder. I think the cutest part is the slide frame with the adorable snowman (I covered it with mica). A nice thing about this nested set is that the pieces can be re-gifted or repurposed. The person who receives it can use the file folder and envelopes again with new personalized notes to give to someone else.
