Dare To Wonder

Have you ever sat and Wondered?? Just literally sat down, gazed into the air and thought. Wondered what would happen if you started that business, if you took a chance, if you took a risk.. I do. I often have to be nudged a bit to snap me out of it. I usually write down my thoughts and come back to them later.
I say all of that to say - my Buppa - my first grandbaby..always stares into oblivion.. I wonder what he thinks about, what he sees.. does he like us?? Lol!! I captured these photos (and many many more) of my little Buppa - thinking. I just knew that these little snaps were made for a layout.
I used the Circle Medium DIY Pallet Shape as my base. I used some craft stain in espresso to give the blank wood some color. After a couple of coats - I let it dry. I then went in with the 4x6 Brick wall stencil and white paste to give the layout some dimension and texture. I used Mintay's paper collection Tiny Miracles for the surrounding die cuts. Those were all fussy cut out by hand. Cause I love my Buppa :)

I love the contrast between the dark wood and the lighter papers. I printed out and used a stitched circle die to cut them out.

I finished the layout with some lace and webbing from my stash. Added some shimmer and flat back pearls to complete the layout.
