I absolutely LOVE coffee - like really LOVE coffee!! I have coffee & drink bars all over the house. So, I'm GOOD!! Let me show you how this came about and the items youll need to complete this project.

Youll first need to grab two different stencils. Youll need a Coffee Bar and You Had me at Hello.
Youll also need a piece of wood. ( I used Balsa from Hobby Lobby) some white paint ( I used Gesso), foam brushes, craft stain, and heavy jump rings. Vinyl die cut optional.
Cut down your wood to size using a craft knife and a ruler. I drew a line first with a pencil and then followed that with the ruler.
After I cut my wood piece down into two smaller pieces, I added my stain. If you have a rougher surface, please sand before staining, It helps - trust!
I just used one coat to finish my pieces.
Now it is time to add the white paint using the stencils. I grabbed a clean foam brush to do this. You dont want to transfer the stain to the stencil or the negative space. I used the dab and pounce technique. It allowed me to add texture while adding a thick coat of paint. My tip for holding the stencil down is to use washi tape or painters tape to hold it while you paint.
I used the edge of the paint brush to outline the edge of the wood. I think this added a bit more of the Coffee House character.

I used my Silhouette Studio software and cameo machine to type and cut out the word Awesome and the arrow in pink vinyl. This was completely optional - but because I love the color combo I chose, I had to add pink. Now we can add the jump rings. Mark on your wood piece where you want to put your holes. (I didnt and thats why mine are a little off) Make a hole at the bottom of the first one and the top of the second. Then add your jump rings. Done!!
