Hi There! Vertical pockets are a great way to add places to hold journal cards and photos. Heres how I made these pockets and spider web tags.

Spider Web Tag: I wanted my tags to both hold pre-printed journal cards from the collection and 4x6 photos. So I cut a strip of black cardstock 6 ½ inches wide.

Next I punched two of the corners with a spider web punch, but you can use any corner punch you like.

Adhered the 4x6 journal card, then trimmed the bottom edge. I measured the tag at this point, so I can use those measurements to cut additional tags and photo mats.

Finally I attached a strip of paper between the two spider web corners to add a bit of decoration to the tag.

Vertical Pocket: Cut a strip of paper between 2 and 3 wide, depending how deep youd like your pocket. Ink the edges, then glue 3 sides to your page. Decorate the pocket with strips of paper and stickers or fussy cut images from the collection.

These pockets area a great addition to any junk journal or mini album, because they allow me to add more photos and journal cards to a page.

Happy Scrapping!
