I adhered masking tape down the middle of my canvas.

Next I added some texture on the one side with a stencil and white crackle texture paste and painted that half with Impasto paint Raspberry Pink.

I then painted the other half with Impasto paint Snow White. Once it was dry I adhered masking tape diagonally and painted over the tape with Impasto paint Crimson.

Next I created a casting from the Baroque Frames mould and painted it with black gesso. I then lightly highlighted the raised areas with Impasto paint Snow White and Boudoir Pink using a sponge.

I also created some leaf castings and painted them with Impasto paints.

I then applied a butterfly from the Papillion transfer onto acetate and fussy cut it.

I adhered some decorative tape down the middle and adorned the rest of my canvas with some die cut leaves (which have been painted with Impasto and metallique paints), beautiful Prima flowers, glitter and Memory Hardware pearls.
