Love these cards, Sara. I haven't used that technique in ages. Perfect for your card. That background stamp is awesome. Do you remember where you got it? Well done on this project!!
6" square easel card When I got these TH Halloween people ephemera, I had to make cards for my family. I made 6 of these cards. The background is the Joseph Coat technique. I stamped the background with light gray ink, and then inked over it with Hero Arts inks. I restamped with embossing ink, and embossed the image with clear embossing powder. Black Hero Arts ink was swiped over the entire background, and then the black was gently wiped off of the clear embossing so the colors would show through. I added the TH ephemera people. I die cut the spooky letters to make the stopper. Rainbow paper behind the die cut piece. I went over the letters with some glitter pen. The dachshund dogs were die cut. They are in honor of my late parents, who owned a black dachshund named Spook. Sorry that I haven't posted in so long, and that I am posting so many cards at one time. Life has gotten in the way of the things that I enjoy. I thank each of you for looking at my cards. I so appreciate the kind comments.
